As part of collaboration and coordination in line with the guidelines of the Operationalization of the Standard Operating Procedure for Return, Readmission and Reintegration, National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons and Nigeria Immigration Service on the 28th of June 2023 participated in the return assistance of a family of 4 from Holland under the Patriotic Citizen Initiatives (PCI)/Dutch Refugee Council voluntary return assistance program for Nigeria returnees.
Patriotic Citizen Initiatives provides technical services to FIIAPP and European union to improve and build the capacity of civil society organizations in Nigeria on legal migration pathways to Europe countries through organizing national workshops, seminars/training for civil societies on Europe countries migration policies and directives on legal migration. On the 5th and 6th of June PCI conducted workshop for 25 CSO’s in Nigeria.
Patriotic Citizen Initiative(PCI) in partnership with Salasians of Don Bosco conducts a 2 months(May-June) free vocational training for returnees and potential migrants on Tailoring, I.C.T, Welding. Phone repairs and Electrical ongoing in Edo State. The training aims to achieve and build the capacity of return migrants.

About Us

The whole essence of Patriotic Citizen Initiatives (PCI) is to dissuade young and vulnerable boys and girls from being illegally trafficked from across the West African borders into Europe through the desert through a campaign of enlightenment and sensitization. The other is to assist in the repatriation of stranded irregular migrants and their rehabilitation back into regular society through training and empowerment.
