Strengthening Partnerships, Empowering Communities: PCI Visits COSUDOW, Society for the Empowerment of Young Persons (SEYP) & Genius Hub Initiative - Benin City, Edo State.

On 14 August 2026, the Executive Director of Patriotic Citizen Initiatives (PCI), paid a strategic visit to COSUDOW, Society for the Empowerment of Young Persons and Genius Hub Initiative, three remarkable organizations in Benin City, Edo State and committed members of NACTAL Nigeria.

These organizations continue to play significant roles in protection, women and youth empowerment, livelihood development, and job creation, while demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting vulnerable populations within our communities.

The visit provided an opportunity to reconnect, exchange ideas, explore areas of mutual collaboration, and strengthen partnerships. Indeed, engagements of this nature are essential to deepening the work of NACTAL members and reactivating partnerships that can deliver greater impact.

PCI was particularly impressed by the innovative and impactful work being championed by Genius Hub Initiative, the Society for the Empowerment of Young Persons, and COSUDOW, especially their interventions around women's empowerment, skills development, protection, and the provision of shelter and support for vulnerable young girls.

These initiatives are a powerful reminder that sustainable change is achieved when organizations come together, share expertise, and create practical opportunities for vulnerable people to rebuild their lives with dignity and hope.
